A SINGLE ACT OF KINDNESS CAN CAUSE RIPPLES OF HEALING
For as long as I can remember I have felt a great admiration for the process of being pregnant and giving birth.
I wish every woman to face and experience childbirth in confidence, strength, and flow. Regardless of the exact course, because you can't always control that. What you can control, however, is how you prepare for it. And that is something I would love to support you with.

An old saying goes, "It takes a village to raise a child". I believe it starts earlier. Sometimes we in the west seem to have forgotten that you don't have to go into labor alone. With at most your partner, midwife or (rotating) hospital staff as part of one of the most defining and magical moments in your life. A moment that you will carry with you forever. And that your child will carry within him or her forever as well.
MY DREAM: BESIDES WAKING UP NEXT TO THE RICE FIELDS IN BALI EVERY MORNING, A POSITIVE BIRTH EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY WOMAN.
What to expect with me by your side.

DURING THE BIRTH I WILL SUPPORT YOU FROM START TO END, BOTH MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY, AND LEAVE ONLY WHEN REST IS RETURNED AND YOU (AND YOUR PARTNER) FEEL GOOD ABOUT IT.
AS A DOULA, I AM NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR PARTNER, BUT A PART OF YOUR BIRTH TEAM. SO I SUPPORT NOT ONLY YOU, BUT ALSO YOUR PARTNER, SO THAT YOUR CHILD CAN BE BORN IN PEACE.

As a doula with such fondness for this country, it was inevitable that I would come into contact with Yayasan Bumi Sehat.
​
Bumi Sehat is a health center for pregnant women and women that are giving birth. 'Bumi' means 'mother earth' in Indonesian, and 'sehat' means 'healthy'.
​
In the words of Ibu Robin Lim, founder of Bumi Sehat, 'we're healing the world one baby at a time'.
​
With The Ripple Effect, I donate a percentage of every trajectory that is taken to Bumi Sehat.
